The overwhelming response to Pizza, our responsive pie charts , had us thinking that we could deliver up more than a slice of pie. So we went back into the kitchen and expanded our menu. Today, we're pleased to introduce our brand-new responsive charts and graphs, which we call Pizza Amore! ( OK, we were listening to a lot of Dean Martin when we came up with the titles.)

What's in Pizza Amore!

Bar Charts: You can use an unordered list with data attributes to …

…‘two pizza teams' for development or operations (indeed, they are luckyif they have ‘two Pizza Hut teams').

The size of the team is nearly irrelevant. Within each Pizza Hut there are tables, and each table consumes the pizza buffet. The goal of DevOps is to increase the flow of the work through those tables so the teams can eat their pizza and leave quicker. As I've said before , focusing on the Silos is the wrong way to solve the problem. Rather focus …

…interactions to show each section's percentage per section on touch as well as on mouseover. And Pizza's CSS-based animations lend a smooth feel to its charts on any device that supports SVG.

Use two different SASS functions that take 1 base color and produce stunningly clean Charts. One produces a monochromatic chart and the other creates a chart with varied hues.

Bottom line, if you can make a HTML list, you can make a Pizza pie. Chart. Get Your Pizza Pie Chart

Pizza!

During the talks there will be some pizzas available (vegetarian & vegan options available), provided by our hosts Skills Matter .

Pub

After the talks the evening continues in a more informal style at The Slaughtered Lamb . It's a great place to discuss the talks directly with the speakers, or chat to other rubyists about the great debates of the day. If you are unable to make the talks, for whatever reason, do feel free to turn up for this part of …

Berkeley Pizza: from pizza in the farmer's market to a sit-down restaurant. Another thing I love about The Lean Entrepreneur is how Brant and Patrick are treating their book like a startup. One example is in their marketing, which in today's environment requires providing value. This doesn't mean pointing to the product and describing the product's value, but rather the marketing provides value itself.

As part of their book campaign, Brant and Patrick have teamed …

Apple hiring a Pizza Cook :

from the posting:

The ideal candidate has extensive experience making pizza dough from scratch and is able to portion and toss the dough; possesses the ability to hand stretch the pizza (without using a rolling pin) and cook the pizza to order in a high temperature oven. The cook will also prep and maintain all food items necessary to make a variety of pizzas (toppings, sauces and related prep).

Join us at Panino's Pizza in Downtown Orlando for our first meeting of the new year! I thought we could try a Coding Dojo , like the Orlando Dojo group : we pick a problem (usually from Project Euler ), pick a language ( Ruby, duh), and discuss an implementation, then get to work! We work in pairs to practice pair programming , we write tests first to practice test-driven development , and we time-box each pair (usually …

…fun in our hacking evenings without grabbing something to eat. In first sessions, we ordered some Pizza, which was great but expensive. So, we decided to prepare something on our own. Before starting we usually go to a near supermarket and buy the ingredients. We already prepared ham and cheese sandwiches, hot-dogs, cheeseburgers and tapioca (a brazilian wrap made of manioc ).

OK, we've satisfied our requirements. But how to keep people motivated and participating on every session? …
