There are two great things about the current world of software development. First, the possibilities are endless. You can work for a small or large company, create your own startup or just freelance. There is very likely a niche that fits your favourite way to work. Secondly, there is a ton of opportunity out there! Software developers are in high demand at the moment so right now is a fantastic time to experiment.
